If you’ve got four days to soak up the sun, elegance, and coastal magic, here’s how I’d spend them.. leaning into beach clubs, walking trails, old towns, and a splash of luxury.
Day 1: Arrive & Settle In
- Make Nice your home base (or maybe Villefranche or a hotel/villa in Cap-Ferrat) so you’ve got easy access to the coast + transport.
- Chill in the afternoon, explore the town center, grab dinner by the sea.
Day 2: Antibes + Beach Club Vibes
- Take a day-trip to Antibes — the old town, visit the local markets, and roam the charming streets.
- Book a day bed at a beach club in Antibes; Plage Keller is an excellent choice if you love good food + relaxed luxe + beach time. We got there extra early to secure a front row lounge chair, my sister insisted…. it was nice though to have a direct view of the water!
Day 3: St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat + Trail + Beach Club
- Head north to St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. One of my favorite days.
- Start with a hike or walk along one of the coastal/walking trails (pack a dress + tennis shoes so you can go from hike → beach easily).
- After exploring, lounge at a beach club: good food, daybeds/restaurants, scenic views.
Heads up: The beach club at Cap Ferrat involves lots of stairs, especially down to the beach area. If it’s checkout day or you’ve got heavy luggage, pick a flatter option or time it earlier if you can. We made the mistake of thinking we could bring our luggage and it was so much effort to carry them up and down those stairs in the sun.
Day 4: Monaco + Luxe & Shopping
- Use this day for Monaco: hop on the train or grab a taxi.
- Explore luxury shopping (don’t forget your passport for VAT refunds!), then treat yourself to a hotel bar drink or sunset views.
- Dine somewhere fancy, soak in the glamor.
